Little Wolf Counselling

Welcome to Little Wolf Counselling. My name’s Allie, and I’m a qualified and experienced child and adolescent therapist, registered with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

I offer a confidential, safe space for young people (aged 4-18 yrs) to share whatever’s on their mind.

If a young person you know seems to be struggling emotionally, or has asked for help, I can provide a safe, non-judgmental space to help them make sense of their feelings.

I work creatively, using toys, games and art materials to help create the right environment for young people to learn about different emotions and explore their own safely.

Sessions are 50 minutes long, at the same time and place each week, and I offer short and long term counselling.

If you’d like to make an appointment to discuss your needs further, please complete the contact form on this website and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. My working days are Monday – Thursday, term time only.

Little Wolf Counselling is based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire.

What I use

In my counselling room, children will find …..

Puppets

These can be used to tell stories or to say things through a different voice which young people can find too difficult to say themselves.

Art Materials

Art is a great way to express feelings when there are no words. It can be both cathartic in its expression and a glimpse into the unconscious.

Sand Tray and Miniatures

This can allow young people to create their own worlds and tell stories in the safety and containment of the sand tray. The sand can also be used alone as a sensory intervention.

Games

These are often used as a means of connection and can be useful when building the therapeutic relationship.
